Chet giving Wemby a very tough run for the ROY. He has been way more efficient than Wemby and obviously he is on a winning team.
Its not ts close . I'm more on the side of wembanyama because he is a monster. But if chet is bearing him then he is beating him . Kessler got the award stolen last year
Chet helps his team win even without SGA they won some games. Meanwhile the Spurs are just mediocre with Wemby

Chet is the rookie of the year so far and it's not even close. He's shooting 53/44/91 and he's helping his team winning while Wemby is shooting 43/28/77 with a good chance to finish the season in the worst team in the NBA. Yes, it's not even close.

Really excited about this duo, man ๐ฅShai's deserved more spotlight for a few years now, and winning is finally getting him some proper attention. The awesome thing about Chet is that he makes the game look so easy - he's using his size in a really clever way. Hoping they both stay healthy!

Both teams bounced back well. I thought the last game was extremely messy on both sides. This one was very entertaining. Clutch shots on both sides.
That 2-man game was cooking ALL NIGHT, they've got great chemistry
Chet has an All-Star in Shai, the true leader and the best player on the team, and several solid players around him to have an all-around game. Meanwhile, Wemby needs that point guard (and basically the roster) to be efficient and win, as they lost an ugly one where they had a lead and let it slide with poor decision making, in which one of the factors was Pop subbing him in and out at times cost them the game. At this point, I still think Wemby is the franchise player than Chet is, but it's gonna be one sided if winning becomes the major point for Chet to take the ROTY award. Chet looks like a good 2nd player on a playoff team, when I thought he'd be more like MPJ role (3rd/4th option) in Denver.

Chet is HIM. High basketball IQ, great attitude & mentality, team player, and potential leader. He's well poised in the league for a young player. Chet gonna take over the league soon.

Chet has been more consistent than wemby. It coild nean that he will settle in and grow his numbers faster.
he has for sure, but the team surrounding him is phenomenal. wemby is playing with a bunch of dudes they grabbed from the YMCA 20 minutes before the game started and chet is playing with at least one dude who has a legitimate shot at going down as one of the 100 best to play the game.

Chets playing unbelievably, granted he's in a much better system that enables him to get better shots but still his splits are so much higher then Wembys. Chet shoots. a fair amount of 3's and is still at 42-43% with 53% FG. Shits wild. Ill give Wemby some breathing room though, even though he was inured he got to be around the league for a full season and im sure picked up on a ton of stuff. Plus was scrimmaging during last season. Gotta give Wemby some time.

@Mike-vt5kk Spurs last year started with a very good record. You are crazy to think they are so bad. Spurs simply play for Wemby ROTY, they letting him brick as much as possible to inflate his numbers. They just lost to the team with worst record in the league. Chet plays for the team, even this game they didn't run plays for him, not even the play he brought them into the game. This was Giddy decision and if SGA was open he would have gotten the ball. Chet is the ROTY so far.
Both these guys are smart, mature and understand the game.
